Classes and Sneak Peeks!
Remember – by Hebie Capill $27.00
In this double layout class you will be using the wonderfully graphic Teresa Collins papers in shades of white, blue and grey. We will be using a whole sheet of Teresa Collins die-cuts, some chipboard, bakers twine and we’ll even be making paper rolls and a pocket for journaling. Although my layout is geared towards boys, it would work just as well for your travel photos.
You will need to bring:
· your basic toolbox to complete this double layout
· one 6x8 portrait (or two 6x4 landscape) on the first page and two 6x4 landscape on the second page of the layout.
Once Upon a Time – by Helen de-Leeuw $27.00
Join me in this class where we'll make a double layout in classic black and cream. I have used heritage photos on mine but if you put your own title on, it would easily suit travel or any other type of photo. We'll be using handmade vintage fabric, buttons, lace, a touch of bling and stunning papers from the 'Notations' range from Teresa Collins. There's room for some journaling or names that can be added and you will get a whole die cut sheet to keep and use on other layouts. You will learn a cool technique to make your own flower which you will love and use again for sure!
You will need to bring
· two 5x7 portrait photos - can be added later but please bring a 5x7 template
· dark brown ink pad
· very narrow double sided tape
· needle and some light cream coloured thread
· pop dots and glue dots
· water spritzer bottle - these will be available for sale on the day if you don't have one ($4.20)
· 2 inch scallop circle punch if you have one!

I’m sure many of you are organising your holiday, birthday, Christmas, family etc. etc. photos, to scrap on 29th October. But how about creating a special page about yourself? It is well known that we put ourselves at the bottom of the list, including when it comes to scrapbooking about ourselves. Well, how about you take the plunge, find a nice photo of yourself, or even better get a family member to take one now, and scrap that. This is a lovely girly layout, with flowers you will learn to make, paper rolling, a mannequin you can dress, using Tim Holtz dies, Martha Stewart punches and more. And if you are struggling to include yourself, you can use a photo of your mum, daughter, sister, grandmother etc.
You will need to bring:
· one 4x6 or 5x7 photo (portrait or landscape)
· glue dots
· brown ink & dauber
· paper piercer
· skinny double sided tape
· small round tool for paper rolling e.g. paper piercer, skinny crochet needle, satay stick etc

Collage of Memories – by Maggie Armstrong $25.00
A layout with a difference, using a technique I learned earlier this year at the Brisbane Scrapbook Expo from the wonderfully talented Jane Tregenza. Essentially, the layout is made from mini chipboard squares, some covered with photos and some are decorated. Using lots of little trinkets, ribbons, papers, lace, buttons, pearls and flowers, the result is a wonderfully detailed layout, perfect for using up some of those smaller heritage photos you might have tucked away waiting to be scrapped. Be warned, this is a very addictive style of scrapbooking!
You will need to bring:
· 4 photos cropped to 4cm x 4cm – sepia or black and white will work best
· 1 photo cropped to 8cm x 8cm – sepia or black and white will work best
· glue dots
· pop dots
· brown ink & dauber
· sanding block or emery board
· paper piercer
· double sided tape
